Hello Friends!

Thought I would post my progress on Isabella Johnstone!!! I choose 32ct Creme Brulee as my fabric, and I really like the old look to it. I am in a SAL with 2 friends, JoAnn and Betty on this Sampler. We hope to get together next month for lunch and to see each others progress. I am a slow stitcher, so this is going to take me a while to finish. So far it has been fun to stitch! Looking forward to using another color!! I have a small sampler coming from the framer soon and I will post when I get it. The pictures on the right is of a small pincushion I stitched and a pair of paper shoes I bought on Etsy last year. So Sweet~

Bandit~Sweet Little Boy

Hello Friends~

Here is a couple of new pictures of Bandit, he is now 3 months old. Oh, he is a very busy and energetic puppy! He makes me laugh out loud several times a day. We started pupply school this past Monday (for 12 weeks) hopefully he will learn good puppy manners! Potty training is going very well, although it is a bit more of a challenge to train in the winter! He loves to play in the snow!!

New Family Member~

Hello Friends~

Please let me intoduce our newest family member ~Bandit~ he is a sweet little boy, Schnoodle, 9 weeks old and weighs 6lbs. We saw him at Pets Pajamas last Wednesday and brought him home on Saturday. This was not planned, but you can't deny love at first sight! He is doing a great job with potty training, infact accident free today, (so far!). We have another dog, Rex, a 7yr old poodle, he doesn't seem thrilled about our new guy, but I hope they become fast friends. We had another poodle, Cinnamon who was 17yrs old, that we had to put down in November 2010. Our family really enjoys having 2 dogs and if I didn't work, we would probably have 3!!! They bring us alot of joy and unconditional love 24/7!!!

Hello Friends!!!

I was doing a bit of laundry today, and my paper area was calling my name! I made these angel tags for some gifts and also made a small journal. Doing paper art is instant gratification, a nice change from needlework. I am making a memory box, but it needs more work and drying time in between additions.

Annual Christmas Party at JoAnn's House!

Hello Friends~

This past Wed was our annual Christmas Party and gift exchange! It is by far my favorite party of the season. The food was so good, and we look forward to some foods we get to have only once a year made by each other, like JoAnn's spinach casserole, Joyce's meatballs! The gift exchange is always exciting, finding out who picked your name and what they decided to make for you. The friendship we have with each other, so dear to to all of us!!

Also a big "Thank You" to Karen who has been hosting the "Stitch Inn" for the last 16 years. For opening her heart and home to us every month. I am grateful to be in such a group of talented women who all love needle work like I do! It is a real Blessing!
