Hello Stitching Friends!

Dear Friends~

I had Double Knee Replacement on Oct 3, 2013!!!!!!! OHMYGOSH, it's brutal and a long recovery. Still working on my comeback, but then I fell down the stairs and had a setback. Needless to say, I was very lucky I didn't break a bone or damage my surgery. So, I am taking one day at a time, and being very careful!!!! I want to Thank the girls for all the cards and words of encouragement and for the delicious food. So grateful for all of you!
It has been such a long time since my last post!! Hope everyone is doing well and surviving these crazy temperatures. The gas company has been working round the clock in my neighborhood due to low gas pressure. They will be going door to door making sure everything is working properly, gas problems are never good.
The pictures posted are of the Christmas Gift exchange from the ladies in the Wed night stitching group that meet at Karen's house once a month. She has been hosting us for 20+ years, we are so thankful for her years of kindness to us. The gifts are so lovely and each one made with love!!! I am really Blessed to be a part of this group. , even though I am always finishing my project on the day of the party!!!! Every year, I tell myself I am going to do it early and then life takes over and I am down to last minute. The pictures of me are with dear Friends, Ella and JoAnn.
I have another party to post as well, check back soon~

Happy New Year & God Bless You~

Holy crap! Two at once! I've seen people not able to handle one at a time. Be careful!

Wow, I hope that each day you get stronger and more mobility comes to you and that the surgery will be a distant memory soon.
What a fabulous get together and exchange of beautiful stitched pieces. What a talented group!

i have a colleague (who is a dear friend) have a double knee replacement and she told me that it was horrible. I can remember her saying the first time they got her out of bed and stood her up, she vomited right on the floor, and this woman is of strong constitution. I am keeping you in my prayers, my heavens to go through that and then fall...thank God it wasn't any damage to your knees. The party gifts! ASTONISHINGLY BEAUTIFUL! Thanks for sharing :)
